What we keep, what we don't.
Every conversation you have with the Guru is saved in our database, anonymously, attached to a random session identifier kept in your browser's local storage. We keep these conversations for posterity — to honour them, study tone over time, and improve the Guru's care. We do not collect your name, email, IP address, or account details. There are no accounts.
Your questions are sent to Anthropic's Claude (Sonnet 4.5) through a managed API. Anthropic processes the message to generate a response and is bound by its own privacy and data handling policies. We do not feed your conversations into any training pipeline.
When you press Begin Again, your browser receives a fresh session identifier so you start a clean conversation. The previous exchange remains in the database as a private record, with no way to link it back to you personally.
Since there is no account, there is no email to write to with your name. If you want a specific conversation deleted, send the session identifier (found in your browser's local storage under myaiguru_session_id) to the project's contact channel and we will purge it.
This notice is written in plain language, not legalese, because you deserve to know what happens with your words.
